An extensive range of jewellery MADE IN SCOTLAND from Old fashioned Pewter with a plated finish of Palladium (which won’t scratch or tarnish). Inspiration for the designs is taken from many traditional Scottish elements such as Endless Celtic Interlacings (the overs and unders representing the ups and downs of life, and it’s unbroken continuity the symbol of the hope of eternal life), Luckenbooths (sold from ‘locked booths’ in Edinburgh these were often given on betrothal and became family heirlooms) and of course the Thistle (adopted over 700 years ago as the emblem of Scotland).   The Kilt Pin became fashionable in the 1800s and has continued to this day, universally worn on kilts or kilted skirts. The Thistle again features prominently in many, as does the Claidhmhor (pronounced “Claymore” meaning ‘big sword’). Highlanders invariably elaborated the metal parts of their wearing apparel by introducing stones   1.25″ (3cm) x 4″ (10.5cm)
