Found in 1850, the Tara brooch is a Celtic brooch from around 700 AD and considered to be the most impressive of over 50 elaborate Irish brooches to have been discovered.  It is now displayed in the National Museum of Ireland. The brooch has been named after the Hill of Tara which was once the seat of the High Kings of Ireland.

Once used to fasten a cloak or as a symbol of status, the Tara brooch is now a lovely jewelry piece to add interest to a dress, jacket, coat or scarf.

Taking our inspiration from the artefacts of our past this beautiful Celtic brooch is an obvious symbol of heritage. It is designed and handcrafted by our team at our Dublin workshop, assayed at Dublin Castle and ccomes gift boxed.

This version is in sterling silver accented with 18K yellow gold – an exceptional jewelry gift.
